The season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. Lent is a 6 week period set aside for reflection, repentance, prayer, and spiritual renewal leading up to Easter. Ash Wednesday is a day when we reflect on humility, our need for God, and our own mortality. All of these things come together at the Ash Wednesday service, when we face our Human depravity and frailty with the imposition of a ashes on our foreheads. This year's Ash Wednesday service will be held on 18 February at 12 noon.
Every year we hold a meeting for the entire congregation to provide clear, transparent communication about the life and health of our church. It’s a time for us to review the past year—celebrating ministry highlights, examining finances, and hearing reports from leaders—while also electing those who will serve us on the Parish Council for the coming year. By gathering annually, the church strengthens unity, ensures accountability, and invites the whole congregation to participate in prayerfully guiding its mission forward.
